Julie was born at Eden Hospital in Castro Valley and grew up in Pleasanton. Julie Anne Frick passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, at the age of 60.Īlthough Julie was afflicted with a multitude of health issues stemming from kidney failure brought on by strep throat in 1975, an unrelenting spirit of joy and natural happiness defined her until the very end of her life. Carol is survived by her loving husband Bob, and devoted children Bob Zedlitz (Mattie) of Stockton, CA and Jean Zedlitz of Livermore, CA. She built life-long friendships through her love of golf at Castlewood Country Club, her bridge club, and dedication to her faith and church groups.Ĭarol is preceded in death by her sister Martha Philipps, father Francis N. She was a devoted wife and caring mother. Prior to raising her two children, Carol taught first grade. Carol was wed to Robert (Bob) Zedlitz on Augin Reno, Nevada while on a trip to California and started their married lives together for the next 60 years. In her retirement she enjoyed playing slot machines at the casino, trips to Capitola with Rick, seeing Broadway musicals, and lunch dates with her friends.Ĭarol Mae Zedlitz was called home by our Heavenly Father on Monday after a valiant battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.Ĭarol was born in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Devilbiss High School, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Her greatest fans called her “Grammy.” She loved every moment spent with her grandchildren Brayden, Zoe, Addison, and Emerson and never missed an opportunity to spoil them.Ĭathy worked as both a municipal and superior court clerk in Hayward and Pleasanton. When it came to Ryan and Lindsey, she never missed a sporting event, school field trip, or special moment in their lives. Cathy resided in Pleasanton for 38 years up until her death.Ĭathy devoted her time and attention to her family. They then moved to Pleasanton where they had their daughter Lindsey.
The beginning of their marriage was spent in Union City where they welcomed their son Ryan.
It was there where she fell in love with Rick and they got married on June 9, 1973.
She spent her early years in Oakland and moved to San Leandro where she graduated from Pacific High School in 1971. Catherine Anne Templeman (Allen) peacefully passed away on Jafter a brief illness.Ĭathy was born on Octoin Oakland, CA to parents John and Mary.
